After being rained out Saturday afternoon, the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Trucks Series tried again Sunday morning this time with clear skies and no threat of rain in sight for the Pocono Organics 150. For the first time in NASCAR history, all three series raced on the same day. The only driver that started in the rear was Bayley Currey (driver change) substituting for Natalie Decker. Johnny Sauter was the pole sitter, and starting next to him was Sheldon Creed.
Not even one lap into the race, the first caution came out when Cody Rohrbaugh got loose, then got into the number 22 truck driven by Austin Wayne-Self before going up the track and hitting Matt Crafton in turn one. The race went under a red flag for eight minutes as the crew cleaned up the accident. Before the caution came out, Sheldon Creed was the leader.
