Chase Briscoe wins the pole for this Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 300

It’s been a good week for Chase Briscoe. He won last weekend at Kansas Speedway and yesterday’s announcement of moving up to the Cup Series next year to now on the pole for this Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway, his fourth pole of the season. He won the pole by virtue of a metric qualifying system that takes into account the drivers finishing positions from previous races, team owner points, and fastest laps of earlier races.
