Jeb Burton joins Kaulig Racing full-time in 2021

On Monday, Kaulig racing announced that Jeb Burton will compete full-time in the No. 10 Nutrien Ag Solutions Chevrolet Camaro next year. The No. 10 Camaro was driven by Ross Chastain, who is moving up to the Cup Series with Chip Ganassi next year. Burton competed for JR Motorsports part-time this year, sharing the ride with Daniel Hemric, who announced last week he joined Joe Gibbs Racing full-time.

Kaulig Racing President Chris Rice, on Burton’s addition, said, “He’s a great fit for Kaulig Racing and our partners. I’ve known the Burton family and worked with them back in the 1980’s, so it feels like everything has come full circle. We are going to go out and compete for wins and championships. Jeb is a guy we can build a long term, successful program around.”

Burton made his Truck Series debut in 2012, scoring a top ten finish at Charlotte for Mike Hillman Racing. He then joined Turner Scott Motorsports for his rookie year and won at Texas Motor Speedway in 2013 to go with seven poles, five top-five, and eleven top-ten finishes. In 2014, he joined ThorSport Racing and finished the season with two top-five and seven top-ten finishes. From 2015 to now, he competed in at least two races a season.

Burton released a statement on signing with Kaulig Racing saying, “I’ve worked so hard, not only behind the wheel, to get an opportunity like this, and it couldn’t be more perfect – representing a brand with the same values and beliefs as my family. This partnership represents everything we are, and I can’t thank Matt Kaulig, Chris Rice and Nutrien Ag Solutions enough.”

In his Xfinity Series career, he made his debut in 2013 for Turner Scott Motorsports and scored a top-ten finish at Kentucky. He then competed for different teams from Biagi-DenBeste Racing, Richard Petty Motorsports, JGL Racing, Richard Childress, and two-years with JR Motorsports. In total, he’s made 43 Xfinity Series starts with six top-five and fifteen top-ten finishes.

The 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season starts Saturday, February 13th, at Daytona International Speedway.
