Justin Allgaier wins the Food City 300 pole

Justin Allgaier will lead the field to green in Friday night’s Food City 300 from Bristol Motor Speedway in the final race of the regular season. Brandon Brown currently holds the last spot in the playoffs with Jeremey Clements, Myatt Snider, Alex Labbe, and Josh Williams on the outside looking. Allgaier won the pole by virtue of a metric qualifying system that takes into account the drivers finishing positions from previous races, team owner points, and fastest laps of earlier races. Allgaier will have Ross Chastain next to him as he qualified second. The race will air Friday night at 7 pm on NBCSN. Here is the starting lineup.
