Philadelphia Flyers recall Alex Lyon and Samuel Morin from Phantoms

            On Thursday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced they have recalled defensemen Samuel Morin and goalie Alex Lyon to the Taxi Squad. At the same time, Felix Sandstrom returns to the Phantoms from the Taxi Squad.

Alex Lyon completed his first game in over a year last night in a 6-2 loss to the Hershey Bears. Lyon made eleven saves. Before the pandemic shut sports down, Lyon went 11-14-5 with 824 saves and allowed 79 goals (2.69 GAA).

Samuel Morin played seven games for the Phantoms, recorded two assists, and seven shots for Lehigh Valley.

            Felix Sandstrom has played four games for the Phantoms with a 2-1-1 record with 81 saves and allowed 15 goals (4.40 GAA).

The Phantoms will be back in action tomorrow night against the Devils in Newark at 7 pm on AHL.tv.
