Philadelphia Wings signs Kevin Buchanan

The Philadelphia Wings announced today they have signed forward Kevin Buchanan to a one-year contract. Buchanan played for the Wings in 2013. He has also played in Major League Lacrosse and Premier Lacrosse League. Buchanan is from Cockeysville, MD, and played college lacrosse at Ohio State University.

Buchanan was the eleventh overall pick in the 2008 NLL Draft by the then Minnesota Swarm, now known as the Georgia Swarm. He was selected to the 2009 NLL All-Rookie Team. Buchanan has played a total of one hundred and twenty-five games for five teams, including his lone year with the Wings. He has also played for Minnesota, Boston, Buffalo, and New England. In his ten-year career, he has one hundred fifty-three goals and two hundred fifty-nine assists.

Philadelphia will kick off the 2019 on December 14th against the Georgia Swarm. The Wings first home game will be on January 10th against the Vancouver Warriors.
