After winning the season opener at the ARCA Menards Series West race last Monday night at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Sam Mayer continued his winning ways Thursday night winning the Star Nursery 150 for the ARCA Menards West Series season opener from the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Mayer dominated the race leading 138 laps while runner up Jesse Love led twelve laps. There were four cautions throughout the race. The first caution came at lap twenty-five when rookie Gio Scelzi spun at turn four and remained in the race as he finished tenth. The second caution came out at lap sixty-five when Austin Reed spun at turn two and finished ninth. The third caution happened at lap eighty-one as Zach Telford stopped at the front stretch with brake issues and was out for the rest of the race finishing sixteenth. That last caution was on lap 138 for debris.

Three cars did not finish the race Briget Burgess was out after forty laps with a rear gear problem. Both Zach Telford and Chris Lowden were both out with brake issues. Telford went out at lap seventy-nine, and Chris Lowden went out at lap ninety-eight. The ARCA Menards West Series now heads to Irwindale Speedway on March 28th.
