The ARCA Menards Series made its way to Pocono Raceway Friday for the General Tire #Anywhereispossible 200. Venturini Motorsports occupied three of the four-position with Michael Self on the pole, Drew Dollar starting third, and Chandler Smith in fourth. Ty Gibbs was the non-Venturini car who started second. Together, Toyota had the first four spots. ARCA officials implemented two competition cautions at laps 20 and 50.

A couple of laps into the race, Thad Moffitt’s car suffered a blown engine and leaked fluid on the track between turns two and three, bringing out the first caution. Crews took several minutes to clean up the track before racing could resume. Michael Self and Ty Gibbs remained in front on the restart. On the ninth lap, Chandler Smith made it three-wide to take the lead heading into turn two.

Not long after Smith took the lead, Gibbs regained the lead coming off of turn one. Not long after getting the lead from Smith, the first competition caution came out at lap 23.

Bad luck continued for Tanner Gray as on the 38th lap, his car slid up and hit the turn one wall bending the front right-side tire bringing out the third caution of the race. His crew attempted to fix the damage, but it was too severe to continue. Sam Mayer and Hailie Deegan were moving up through the field when the second competition caution came out at lap 51. The cars positioned themselves for the restart, as the green flag waved, Jason Kitzmiller’s car went straight into the wall bringing out the fifth caution of the race.

Once the race restarted, Ty Gibbs slowly pulled away, leaving the battle for second up for grabs between Chandler Smith, Brett Holmes, and Sam Mayer. Smith was able to pull away from Holmes and Mayer to keep second place. He was now trying to chase down Gibbs for the lead. Mayer and Holmes were now battling for the third position. Michael Self was sitting in the fifth position just three seconds behind Holmes. Drew Dollar, Hailie Deegan, and Derek Griffith were sitting comfortably in their positions. Ty Gibbs continued to pull away from Smith with ten laps to go.

Chandler Smith pushed hard, giving everything he had left. Still, it was not enough to catch Gibbs whose car was strong and would go on to take the checkered flag and win the General Tire #Anywhereispossible 200 by 2.82 seconds over second-place finisher Chandler Smith. This was Ty Gibbs third win of the season. The rest of the top-ten were Sam Mayer third, Brett Holmes fourth, Michael Self fifth, Drew Dollar sixth, Hailie Deegan seventh, Derek Griffin was the last car on the lead finishing eighth, Ryan Huff finished ninth one lap down, and Scott Melton finished tenth also one lap down.
