The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled forward German Rubtsov from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Monday in an announcement on the Flyers Twitter account. The Flyers also announced that Michael Raffl is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Rubtsov is currently in his second season with the Phantoms. This season, Rubtsov had played twenty-eight games for the Phantoms tallying twelve points, with two goals, and is currently tied for fourth place with Morgan Frost with ten assists for the Phantoms. The Flyers drafted Rubtsov with the twenty-second overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NHL Draft from Chekhov, Russia.
The Flyers will host the Pittsburgh Penguins tomorrow night at the Wells Fargo Center at 7 pm before hitting the All-Star break. The Phantoms will begin their six-game road trip starting Wednesday at 6:05 pm at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center against the Providence Bruins.
