XFL announces team names for 2020 season

            The XFL officially announced the team names for its eight-city franchises Wednesday afternoon.  XFL commissioner Oliver Luck, who was joined by ESPN reporter Laura Rutledge and FS1 host Colin Cowherd announced the names. The team names and logos were revealed in a video package along with a brief history of each city.

The new teams are the Dallas Renegades, Los Angeles Wildcats, Tampa Bay Vipers, New York Guardians, Houston Roughnecks, DC Defenders, St. Louis Battlehawks and Seattle Dragons. Watch the full replay of the announcements below.
