Chase Briscoe has earned a move up the ladder to the Cup Series next year, replacing Clint Bowyer in the No. 14 Ford Mustang. His current sponsor, HighPoint, a tech company from Sparta, NJ, will follow Briscoe to the Cup Series and remain his sponsor. Briscoe recently won his ninth race of the season at Kansas Speedway this past Saturday and is one win away from tying Sam Ard (10 wins in 1983) for the most wins in Xfinity Series history. Briscoe has already advanced to the championship four at Phoenix in the Xfinity Series.

Last week, Clint Bowyer announced his retirement from NASCAR competition and will transition to a full-time NASCAR on FOX broadcaster. Bowyer made it to the Round of 12 playoffs before being eliminated at Charlotte.
Briscoe is currently in his second full season with Stewart-Hass Racing. He has won eleven races with sixteen top-five finishes, twenty top-ten finishes, and two poles. Before joining Stewart-Hass in 2018, he previously raced in the ARCA Menards Series in 2016, winning six races for Cunningham Motorsports to win the championship. A year later, he competed in the Camping World Truck Series with Brad Keselowski Racing, winning one race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. After BKR closed shop, he moved up to the Xfinity Series with Stewart-Hass. He also competed in one race in the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series event at Eldora Speedway, winning the race in 2018 for ThorSport Racing.

Stewart-Haas Co-owner Tony Stewart released a statement on the addition of Briscoe, “In the final three races last season, we saw a confidence in Chase that we hadn’t seen before. Here was a transformation, and I think those three races last year were a preview of what we were going to see this year. He’s delivered time and time again this season, and he’s definitely ready for the NASCAR Cup Series.”
Briscoe will look to win his tenth race of the season in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 this Saturday, October 24th, from Texas Motor Speedway at 4:30 pm on NBCSN.
