Chase Elliott wins the pole for this Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400

Chase Elliott will lead the field to the green flag after winning the pole for this Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400 from Kansas Speedway in the first race of the Round of 8 playoffs. He won the pole by virtue of a metric qualifying system that takes into account the drivers finishing positions from previous races, team owner points, and fastest laps of earlier races. Joey Logano will start second, followed by Kurt Busch third, and Kevin Harvick fourth. The race will air live on Sunday, October 18th at 2:30 pm on NBC. Here is the rest of the starting lineup.
