Impact Wrestling is currently looking for a new television deal. In order to get a new deal, they need to bring in wrestlers that fans are familiar with in order for the wrestling company to grow and to attract a television deal. Impact Wrestling has done an excellent job creating stories for all their characters and pushing them to the limits. The following wrestlers could improve their show by receiving more recognition and delivery action-packed wrestling and storylines for the fans. Here are the top five wrestlers who would help Impact Wrestling get it done.
1. Ryback
Ryback has not been seen or heard of on television for the past two years. WWE had a great character in the beginning before ruining him which eventually lead to him leaving the company. Ryback could have feuds with Brian Cage or Killer Kross. His “Feed Me More” gimmick could still go over with the fans. Impact Wrestling would have better stories for Ryback then what WWE did.
2. Gallows and Anderson
Gallows and Anderson are one of the best tag teams in this era, and once again, WWE has failed to utilize them into what they did in New Japan Pro Wrestling as members of the faction Bullet Club. Impact Wrestling has the right amount of tag teams like LAX, OVE among others, Gallows and Anderson would bring a lot to the table in the tag team division.
3. Jimmy Havoc
Most people do not know who Jimmy Havoc is until they start to watch MLW. His match at War Games was excellent, his promos are brilliant, and he is someone whom companies can build around. The Havoc match against Sami Callihan was top notch and enjoyable. He would make a great addition to Impact Wrestling. Audiences would love to see him continue his feud with Callihan in Impact Wrestling. Plus, Havoc would be great in those Monsters Ball matches.
4. Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho is of those wrestlers who gets better as he ages. He has a great relationship with current Impact Wrestling executive vice president Don Callis. Callis is currently rebuilding Impact Wrestling along with Scott D’Amore and Ed Nordholm. If Chris Jericho decides to join Impact Wrestling, he would undoubtedly help the company get a television deal and could have matches with Eli Drake, Austin Aries, and Johnny Impact.
5. Adam Chandler The Great
When Adam Chandler The Great appeared earlier this year at OTW Fall Slam, he had superstar written all over him. He is currently the OTW Champion and can quickly become a significant draw for any promotion. If Impact Wrestling is looking for a superstar to promote and build up over time, this is the guy they need. Remember Goldberg when he debuted in WCW. The company started him out by building up his role with some squash matches before he started facing guys like Kevin Nash, Hollywood Hogan, and others. Adam Chandler The Great could replicate the likes of those wrestlers by having any heel wrestler challenge him in his debut. Adam Chandler The Great is worth checking out as it should not be long before he signs with a major promotion and Impact Wrestling would be a nice fit.
