In the Cup Series, Michael McDowell will return to the No. 34 Ford Mustang for his fourth season. In 2020, he scored four top-ten finishes, with his highest finish being seventh at Indianapolis. He has two top-five and seven top-ten finishes with FRM.

McDowell’s statement on coming back to FRM said, “Despite all of its challenges, our 2020 season was one of the best in FRM history. I feel like we’ve really been able to hit our stride and I’m excited to channel that momentum into a new season.”

Furniture Row Motorsports welcomes Anthony Alfredo. He will drive the No. 38 Ford Mustang, replacing John Hunter Nemechek as he went back to the Truck Series. Alfredo competed in nineteen races in his first year in the Xfinity Series for Richard Childress Racing. He finished the 2020 season with two top-five and nine top-ten finishes.

Alfredo’s statement on joining the team said, “This is really an unbelievable moment. When you start out racing karts as a kid, you dream of making it to the sport’s top level. I want to thank Bob Jenkins and everyone at Front Row Motorsports for making this dream a reality. I know the challenges ahead, but I’m here to work hard and prove myself.”

David Ragan will also return to Front Row Motorsports in 2021 with Derrick Finley as his crew chief. In 2020, he only competed in one race at the Daytona 500, where he finished fourth. He is entering his fifth year with FRM and has one top-five and five top-ten finishes.

Both the Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series start their seasons at Daytona. The 2021 Camping World Truck Series season begins on Friday, February 12th, and the Cup Series will start on Sunday, February 14th.
