Joey Logano wins the pole for this Saturday’s Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500

Joey Logano will lead the field to green after winning the pole for this Saturday’s Blue-Emu Maximum Relief 500 from Martinsville Speedway. Logano is coming off a win at the Bristol Dirt a couple of weeks ago. Logano won the pole by a metric qualifying system.

The metric qualifying system determines a driver’s finishing position from the previous race, car owner’s finishing position from the previous race, team owner points rankings and fastest lap from the previous race. Denny Hamlin, who finished third at the Bristol Dirt, qualified second. The race will air live this Saturday, April 10th, at 7:30 pm on FS1.
