The race was caution-free until lap 25 spin by Jeremy Gerstner to bring out caution number one. Eight laps after the restart, a huge crash exiting turn four collected several cars to bring out the second caution of the race. The number 3 car of Matt Swanson had smoke coming out of his car. He had issues with the power steering and came to pit road where his day was done and finished 28th.

Hirschman was still the leader when the race resumed with Doug Coby right next to him. Coby challenged Hirschman for the lead but could not find a way to get it from him. On lap 93, the third caution would fly after the number 64 car driven by Rob Summers got into the tire barrier in the backstretch, causing a huge mess. Summers even had a tire stuck on his car.

Hirschman would once again lead the field back to green with 54 laps to go with Bonsignore and Coby right behind him. Both Bonsignore and Coby make contact allowing Hirschman to extend his lead. Bonsignore recovered and chased down Hirschman with ten laps to go. Bonsignore bumped Hirschman out of the way in turn one to take the lead with eight laps to go.

The race restarted with three laps to go, and Bonsignore fought off both Matt Hirschman and Doug Coby to take his second win of the season. Hirschman finished in second, and Doug Coby finished in third.
