Kyle Larson wins the pole for Sunday’s Food City Dirt Race at Bristol

Kyle Larson will lead the field to green after winning the pole for Sunday’s Food City Dirt Race at Bristol Motor Speedway. The Cup Series was scheduled to have qualifying heat races to determine the field, but mother nature had other plans, and the races were canceled and set by a metric qualifying system.

The metric qualifying system determines a driver’s finishing position from the previous race, car owner’s finishing position from the previous race, team owner points rankings and fastest lap from the previous race. Starting next to Larson is Denny Hamlin, who qualified second. The race will air live on Sunday, March 28th, at 3:30 pm on FOX
