In the second race of the IRacing eNASCAR Pro Invitational Series from the virtual Texas Motor Speedway, we saw an epic finish with under ten laps to go as Timmy Hill moved William Bryon out of the way with four laps to go. Hill had to battle Ryan Preece, Garrett Smithley, Landon Cassill, and Alex Bowman to take the win at the virtual Texas Motor Speedway race.
Earlier in the race, Daniel Suarez was parked after attempting to crash Ty Dillon; instead, he crashed himself into the outside wall, followed by wreaking the inside wall then coming to a stop.
For those who don’t know what the Pro Invitational Series is. It is sanction by NASCAR along with IRacing, an e-sports sim racing league featuring current and past NASCAR drivers like Clint Bowyer, Greg Biffle, Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch, William Byron, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Denny Hamlin, Bubba Wallace, and more. The race is broadcast by FOX Sports announcers Mike Joy, Jeff Gordon, and Larry McReynolds.
While we wait patiently for racing to return due to the coronavirus, it’s nice that these drivers, FOX, and IRacing to give the fans some entertainment. The next eNASCAR race will be next Sunday at 1 pm on FOX, FS1, and the FOX Sports app from the virtual Bristol Motor Speedway.
